When I was seven my parents signed me up with Ski Club Domžale in order to learn the basics of skiing and to enable me to ski independently on family vacations. I spent more and more time at trainings and races, which meant that ultimately these family holidays on the snow never really came to fruit.
In elementary school, I also trained judo. Despite the successes I had, I later abandoned it due to lack of time.
When I was ten, I joined Ski Club Novinar in Ljubljana, where I am still a member. I was already very successful in the kids’ categories, and I took part in both local and international competitions.
Throughout this time I also flirted with athletics, first In primary school and later in high school Šentvid, where I attended all school competitions especially since we, as a team, achieved top results. I never devoted myself more seriously to it but my love for the sport remained. I regularly watch international and local athletic competitions.
Despite skiing and all other activities, I have successfully finished high school and graduated. At seventeen, i started trainig with the national team. I dedicate most of my time to skiing, which I plan to continue doing for the foreseeable future, as I still have a lot of work to do to achieve all my goals. There remains some free time when I can meet up with my friends, play football, basketball and there is also a special challenge, which is a tennis match with my younger brother. No summer goes by without water sports on the beach.
